London is a city where history and modernity intertwine, and the spirit of the monarchy is felt at every step. We will start our journey from Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British monarchs. Here you can watch the famous ceremony of the changing of the guard, which takes place every day in the summer and every other day in the winter. Then we will go to Westminster Abbey, the coronation site of all British monarchs since 1066. This is one of the most significant churches in England, where outstanding figures are buried, including Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.
The route will then take us to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the most recognizable symbols of London. We will walk along Westminster Bridge and go to Trafalgar Square, where Admiral Nelson's Column stands. The National Gallery is also located here, containing works by Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Titian. After viewing the works of art, you can walk along Whitehall, stopping by 10 Downing Street, the residence of the British Prime Minister.
We will finish the day with a walk along the Thames Embankment, where you can admire the panorama of the city, the London Eye and Tower Bridge. Those who wish can visit the Tower, a fortress that served as a prison and a royal palace. London is a city that you want to return to again and again, and this route will allow you to feel its royal grandeur.
